Seat Heat Solution for Honda Pioneer 1000 Parts 1 and 2
Can be put on top of the cab comfort kit put out by Honda for added heat protection.
Part 1 covers the hole above the sub transmission and reduced heat from rising threw the seat. It also helps reduce the rising steam issue from behind the seat when you hit water.
First you need to remove the middle black plastic between the seats. Remove any backing materials rubber ect. As they won’t fit with the new shield. Install the new 12”x57” rectangle piece using spray adhesive “not included” coat both the shield and plastic let glue tack one minute. Stick them together insure you have it where it needs to be prior to sticking. Trim excess. Some customers have used push pins found out auto parts store or Velcro strips to hold it in place. Now install the lower shield that will go under the seat on top of the rubber shield from honda. Now install the middle plastic back on top of the lower shield. Use screwdriver to poke threw and put push pins back in. This material is 3/16" thick and is made as a heat reflective barrier. All one piece no seams. All slits for seat belts ect. are cut all you have do is slap it on and go. I have one on my machine and it works. For added heat protection use black gorilla tape or regular duct tape around the seat belt holes on top of the shield "HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TAPE " as these holes will be the only opening left for heat to escape the tape seals them up.

Note: In those hot summer months of you have the Honda split windshield the top portion is easily removable. I suggest removing it and get some air flow to carry the heat away. You will be a lot more comfy. Y'all enjoy!
